@0A@WILDCAT! allows those with SysOp access to not only manipulate the
currently displayed message but also have direct access to the User and
File databases all from a single keystroke. Direct access to the User
database is very handy for verifying/updating information of the user the
current message was TO/FROM. Depending on your current security level,
you may or may not have access to some of the options listed below.

@0A@WILDCAT! offers a incredible amount of control to those that have SysOp
access to not only the message currently being displayed, but also in
manipulating both the Users and Files databases all while reading
messages.
A sample usage might be when a caller leaves you a message requesting
additional access or possibly something wrong with their configuration.
You can simply select the @0E@[@0F@S@0E@]ysOp@0A@ option from the Read messages prompt
and choosing @0E@[@0F@F@0E@]rom user edit@0A@ and it will take you directly to the
user record of the person the message was addressed FROM. After making
any changes and so on to their user record, selecting @0E@[@0F@Q@0E@]uit@0A@ will then
return you to the current message for review/replying.
Depending on your current security level, you may or may not have access
to all of the options listed here. Shown below is a complete breakdown of
all the available options.
@0E@[@0F@P@0E@]ublic/Private toggle -
@0A@This option is used to toggle the current message from its
present state to either Public or Private. In other words, if
the message was the previously flagged as Public, using this
option will flag it as Private and return you to the message.
@0E@[@0F@M@0E@]ove to conference -
@0A@This feature allows you to take the currently displayed message
and move it to a conference you have access to. This involves
copying the message to a selected conference and then the
original is automatically deleted. This is useful when a caller
has left a message in the wrong conference.
Selecting this option displays the following sub-prompt.
@0E@Conference to move to [@0F@0-39@0E@], [@0F@L@0E@]ist, or [@0F@ENTER@0E@] to quit? [ ]
@0A@Shown below is a description of the available commands.
@0E@[@0F@0-39@0E@] -
@0A@Range of conference numbers available to move this
message into. To select a conference, simply enter
the desired number.
@0E@[@0F@L@0E@]ist -
@0A@This option displays a list of available conferences
the message may be moved to. Shown below is a sample
format of conference areas.
@0F@ 0@0E@)@0B@ General Message Area @0F@ 3@0E@)@0B@ WCMail Conference
@0F@ 5@0E@)@0B@ wcMHS Mail Conference @0F@10@0E@)@0B@ Netmail Conference
@0F@11@0E@)@0B@ Wildcat! Conference @0F@12@0E@)@0B@ NorCal Conference
@0A@Once the list of conferences have been displayed, you
are returned to the main prompt for conference
selection.
@0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@] to Quit -
@0A@Selecting this option exits the @0E@[@0F@M@0E@]ove to conference@0A@
option and returns you to the original message.
@0E@[@0F@C@0E@]opy to conference -
@0A@This option allows you to make a copy of the current message and
place it in a selected conference. This option performs exactly
the same as @0E@[@0F@M@0E@]ove to conference@0A@ option does except instead of
deleting the original message, WILDCAT! leaves it intact. In
other words, two identical messages now exist in two separate
conferences.
@0E@[@0F@F@0E@]rom user edit -
@0A@This command allows you to directly access the user record of
the person the current message is addressed FROM. This is
useful when checking their configuration, security level and
so on. Once the user record has been displayed, additional
options are available including @0E@[@0F@H@0E@]elp@0A@ information. Upon
exiting the user record, you are returned to the current
message for review/replying etc.
@0E@[@0F@T@0E@]o user edit -
@0A@This option takes you directly into the user record of the
person the current message is addressed TO. This performs
exactly the same as @0E@[@0F@F@0E@]rom user edit@0A@ except that it takes you
to the TO user record.
@0E@[@0F@A@0E@]ccess file database -
@0A@This is somewhat different from the previous two options in that
it makes no reference to user names in the message, but rather
takes you directly to the Files database. This is handy if the
caller in the message is requesting information about a
specific file. From the Files database screen, you can search
for a particular file, view/read it and so on. Upon exiting
from the Files database, you are returned to the current
message for review/replying.
@0E@[@0F@H@0E@]elp -
@0A@Displays this Help screen.
@0E@[@0F@ENTER@0E@] to Quit -
@0A@Selecting this option exits the @0E@[@0F@S@0E@]ysOp@0A@ sub-menu and returns you
to the current message.
